Moving background

A soft glow behind the page that moves with the voices. Turn it off for one still picture.

Show the Tread Connection worker

The little worker in the corner listens, thinks, talks and waits when PaceNotes does. It loads a large drawing the first time (about 3 MB), stops while the tab is hidden or a call fills the screen, and slows down when your device is set to reduce motion.

Show the agent bar

One badge per agent across the top, so you can see who is on your call and who is free. Only on this device.

Animated faces

Faces blink and move their mouth. Off for still faces. Always still when your device is set to reduce motion.

Desk voices

When more than one desk talks on a call, each one speaks in its own voice, so you can tell them apart. Automatic gives each desk a different voice that stays the same from call to call. Pick one here to choose it yourself. You can also ask your assistant to change a desk's voice, and you press Allow.

Announce PaceNotes on calls

When the other person hears a notice

Who the notice says is calling

Keep up to 5 names, like your company and your own name. With a default name, the other person hears "Call from" and that name before the recording notice. With no name, the notice stays as it is.

Add a name Default name

Reminders

Show the reminder that spoken commands are heard on the call

Only this help line. The first-run notice, the question about whether the others know, and the recording notices cannot be turned off here. Turning this off asks you to confirm.

Jobs

Figure out the job from the conversation

PaceNotes listens for a job number, a customer or an address, and checks again at the end. You can always say or type the job, or change it afterwards.
