Delete your PaceNotes data or account
You can delete your PaceNotes data at any time and keep using the app, or ask us to close your PaceNotes account entirely. Both are free.
Delete your data and keep your account
- Open PaceNotes on your phone, computer or browser and go to Settings.
- Under Your data, choose Delete all data and confirm. To remove a single session instead, open it and choose Delete.
Or email jakemauldin@risingcreek.ai from the email address on your account with the subject "Delete my PaceNotes data". We do it within 30 days and reply when it is done.
Delete your account
- Email jakemauldin@risingcreek.ai from the email address on your account.
- Use the subject "Delete my PaceNotes account". You don't need to write anything else.
- We confirm the request came from you, then delete your account within 30 days and reply when it is done.
Your sign-in and billing sit with Tread Connection. If you also want your Tread Connection account closed, say so in the same email.
If you are not a member
You may have been on a call or in a meeting with someone who uses PaceNotes, and you want what you said removed. You do not need an account and you do not need a reason.
- Email jakemauldin@risingcreek.ai with the subject "Delete what I said in PaceNotes".
- Give the phone number you were called on or called from, or the meeting, and about when it was.
- We find the sessions that match and delete what the other people said in them, which removes your words. We also delete any grade or test case made from those calls or meetings and keep them out of grading. We reply when it is done, within 30 days.
PaceNotes makes no voiceprints, so we cannot find your voice. We find the call by its number and time. A test case keeps a hidden link to the call or meeting it came from and when it happened, so we can find it too.
What is deleted
- Transcripts, tips, notes and write-ups from every session.
- Your profile, settings, briefs and the facts saved about you.
- Connected devices and their sign-in tokens.
- Call records, if you used calling.
- Grades and test cases made from your calls and meetings.
What is kept, and for how long
- Payment records the law requires us to keep.
- If you turned off Use my calls and meetings to improve PaceNotes, it stays off.
- Our database backups roll off within 30 days, so deleted data leaves them within that time.
- Our providers keep their own request logs for a limited time: OpenAI up to 30 days, Anthropic 30 days, or up to 2 years for a request flagged for misuse.
More detail is in the PaceNotes Privacy Policy.
